Cascata do Boição — Attraction in Loures

Despite recent rains, the waterfall is completely dry at the moment. Overall very beautiful and pleasant green area.

There are two trails to the waterfall from the main road - the lower and the higher one. The higher one is drivable almost all the way, but the last part has steep stairs covered in dry leaves, which probably get slippery after a rain, so proper...

Em Outubro estava seca, mas tem muito para descobrir, hei de vir no inverno para ver a cascata no seu máximo potencial. O Acesso é um pouco complicado e sendo perigoso a descer, mas vale a pena explorar. No caminho de cima, na via principal, o seu fim tem um trilho (ao lado tem uma ex industria e algumas casas aparentemente abandonadas), sendo possível nisto ver a margem de água. Fiz de bicicleta esse trilho e quase no seu fim, tem um trilho a subir e outro a descer, ao descer vai ter a um local de tratamento de água, perto de S. Tiago dos velhos na N115. O trilho a subir fica para a próxima.
