A good family day out and well set up for kids. They park itself lacks interactivity as the majority of dinosaur statues are behind a fence. However there are small playgrounds scattered around the park which help keep the children entertained as you walk through. The statues are fixed (they don’t have motion) and speakers around the park play out dinosaur sounds (but they’re not associated with the dinosaurs themselves. It’s more of a background noise). When the park first opened it was extremely busy at peak season with long queues. Things seem quieter now. It does offer extra activities for children as well as guided tours. Which run at scheduled times and incur a small additional fee. There’s a small restaurant and a couple snack outlets but it’s generally cheap fast food. We decided to plan lunch in Lourinhã itself which is only a 10 minute drive and offers numerous restaurants beside the coast. There is a well stocked gift shop. The toilet facilities are good with children toilets too. All the staff were very friendly and easy...

Interesting and informative. Not just for kids! There are not enough dinosaurs animatronics here. And the price can be set lower. The staff is friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the 3 hours we spent walking on various tracks representing prehistoric times. Superb life-size plastic dinosaurs set in beautiful woodland. The fantastic world of dinosaurs (Dino Parque) is a theme park dedicated to dinosaurs, the largest open-air museum in Portugal and one of the best attractions near Lisbon.
