Praia Fluvial da Bogueira — Attraction in Lousã

Praia Fluvial da Bogueira is an absolute gem and a must-visit for nature lovers and families alike! We had a truly fantastic time here. The river water is simply incredible – so clean, wonderfully warm, and remarkably soft on the skin, making for a truly refreshing swim. It felt amazing! Beyond the invigorating dip, we also enjoyed a lovely little hike nearby, which offered truly fantastic and relaxing views of the surrounding landscape. It's clear this spot is perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. The facilities here are excellent too. It's very kid-friendly, with plenty of space for children to play safely. The on-site cafe is awesome, serving up great refreshments, and the dedicated picnic areas make it easy to spend the whole day enjoying the beautiful surroundings. That was a remarkable stop during our central Portugal exploration trip. We have a child and it was worth to spend half a day here, being immersed in nature and tranquility Come in the morning/early midday on weekdays if you want some privacy, it is getting crowdy in the evening.
