For the one star reviewer, ridiculous. Ah yes, the outrage — having to wait a few seconds for a modern, secure door to open in the countryside. Who knew a winery might invest in, say, design and access control? Shocking. Luis delivered one of the most thoughtful, informative tastings we’ve had in the region. His deep knowledge of the Dau microclimate, the vineyard’s philosophy, and the structure behind each small-batch wine was exceptional. His tasting notes weren’t just descriptions — they were context. You don’t just sip the wine here; you understand it. The winery itself is striking — modern, even brutalist in design — but that bold architecture is offset beautifully by sweeping views of the surrounding vines. It’s a place that takes its craft seriously, and it shows in every detail, from the pour to the presentation. So if you’re allergic to insight, structure, or the idea that €15 might buy you not just three quality wines but the chance to learn something? Sure, maybe this isn’t your place. For the rest of us — curious, open, and thirsty — it’s absolutely worth a visit.

Our host, Luis, was an absolute delight. He guided us through their wine production process with remarkable clarity and passion, making the intricacies of winemaking accessible and engaging. His expertise shone through as he expertly assisted us with wine pairings, enhancing every sip and bite. The culinary highlight was undoubtedly the meal prepared by Chef Miguel. He crafted a fantastic, authentic Portuguese farm to table meal that was, without a doubt, one of the best our family has ever had. Each dish was a testament to his skill and dedication to traditional flavors. From the informative wine insights to the exquisite meal, this winery offers a truly immersive and delightful experience. We left feeling enriched and incredibly satisfied. Highly recommended!

Visit 26.07.2024 As we resell the Titular range in Belgium, we were very eager to see where the product finds its origin. We were not disappointed. We got a tour around the estate, where a very friendly guide Inês informed us about the winery, the grapes and the process. Afterwards we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with perfect winepairing. Caminhos Cruzados only serves one group at a time in an open kitchen, so we were in close contact with chef Miguel who presented us with very fine cooking in an homelike atmosphere. The chef and guide made us and our kids (one year and five year) feel very welcome. We would like to thank CC, Inês and Miguel for their hospitality and the enjoyable afternoon! RYBA Wines (Belgium) Dylan, Virginie & Lewis Amber, Steffi & Mathis

Had a really great tour here, hosted by Luis. Very knowledgeable guide with a LOT of information, you'd better be into wine, thankfully we are and he answered all our questions and was great in conversation about his passion. It's clear they put a lot into the processes and they really take pride in what they do. A large company has invested a lot into the brand, which shows. Gone are the family touches one might expect and in comes the technology and the business side of things. Understandable given recent events. Although the tour was fantastic, we were left disappointed with the tasting. Only three wines and didn't get the price of the tour taken off the purchasing of some wines which we felt was a little tight. Left short of pocket, we expected slightly better value for what we got. Tour could have been shorter and the tasting more plentiful with some crackers to go with the wine. Also, wines are not cheap compared to other producers. The quality is high and that's what you pay for but don't expect any...
