You can get to the waterfall via different routes.

Park in Espinal and follow PR2 (yellow/red marks). The first part is over the road, followed by an unpaved road. You can also park at the end of the unpaved road. When you reach the picknick place the trail is a bit more difficult for about 700 meters. The total length is around 3km/200m elevation. Park at the Miradouro and descent to the waterfalls. This is short, but a more difficult trail. Park at Loucainha and descent to the waterfalls following PR2 (yellow/red marks). This is a difficult trail (see photo). It is around 3-4km to the waterfalls with 250m descend.

Parking is free....

We followed the track virtually to the very start of the falls walk, parking is available but I can imagine it could be very difficult on a busy day.

The walk/hike up to the main waterfall I would mark as a grade II. There were a couple of places where I used support but that was only because I wanted to try to keep my shoes clean.

It's was very cooling and refreshing under the tree canopy and there was also a cooling breeze.

I'll definitely go...

When going down, you can choose between steep way over large stones, or just proceed towards a small tin shack and take a path just before it. At the first crossing with the ruin turn right.

The trail to the waterfall is classified as 4 difficulty but in my opinion is a medium hike for somebody used to walking. You go along the river and there are some areas with large stones to climb. Nice to do for half a day. The waterfall is small and pretty.
