The site is accessible by a short hike, though the path can be a bit steep in places, so comfortable shoes are a must. There are areas where you can relax with children, but be prepared for some uneven ground if you’re visiting with little ones. One thing to keep in mind is that the signage for the trails could be improved. The old path is closed and there aren’t always clear directions to the best route. Still, once you arrive, the serenity and connection to nature make it worth the effort. Would of enjoyed it more if there were more people and knowing if the top of the hill was a good jump into the water. Would of loved to try. The walk up the hill was alittle tough for the wife but my son n I enjoyed every minute of the trip. Definitely an adventure...
