This is a wonderful Quinta (Winery) for the region. It has an authentic feel and is owed and operated by fifth generation wine makers. Our vintner and guide Daniel was fantastic, he has a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about the region and all the wines. The tour was very informative and the wine tasting was done in front of a fire, as it was winter when we visited. Daniel made our experience one of the best. The winery is very close to town and the drive was very scenic. They have three different tours at very reasonable prices, value for money. Read moreAbsolutely wonderful!! We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and it had most everything we needed. And if we needed something, you just had to ask. The fridge was fully stocked with breakfast items. Enough for lunch as well. The daily bread delivery was scrumptious! As was the bottle of wine that was there upon arrival.
The views were gorgeous. Driving through the winery was a unique experience. Lots of areas to walk and explore.
We did a wine tasting and decided, after 10 days in Portugal, that it was our favourite tasting experience.

We turned up on a Sunday (nominally closed) but were still warmly welcomed and bought some of their wine in return for a pitch with access to power, water and characterful shower and toilets. (You can book through Portugal Easycamp) Peaceful with phenomenal views, only two of us there in the five spaces (June) and lovely to walk around the vineyard.
