Praia da Foz do Sizandro — Attraction in Torres Vedras

We didn't stay long as it was quite windy and we had a baby with us. But from what I did see it was an amazing view. Not one bit of litter on the sand, surfers and fishermen in the distance. The area is known well for surfing. The entrance road leading to the car park was a bit steep at first but the car park was well catered for, a separate area allocated for camper vans. Small but busy café and bar just before the wooden path...

Es ist alles...na sagen wir provisorisch aber für uns bisher der schönste Platz. Wobei natürlich wie immer gilt: Schönheit liegt im Auge des Betrachters. Uns gefällt die Abgeschiedenheit, die Nähe zum Strand, der leere Strand und die daraus resultierende Ruhe. Zudem sollte man die Geräuschkulisse einer Brandung mögen...ich denke wer ans Meer fährt wird sich schon damit arrangieren können 😉. Wir sind eben erst angekommen aber ein Sanitärgebäude...wer es braucht... habe ich noch nicht entdeckt. Es ich aber eine V/E Station mit zumindest Grauwasser +Chemietoilette entsorgung vorhanden. Wenn es hart auf hart kommt finden gut 12-13 Fahrzeuge mittlerer Größe Platz. Der Ort ist recht klein, was wir bis jetzt sehen konnten, aber es findet reges Bautreiben statt für, so denken wir, diverse...

Lots of sand to run, play and sunbathing. Sea is kinda tricky, you should be aware of lifeguards indications. Wherever it rains, the ocean turns brownish, due to the mud that comes out of the river. Very quiet place. From there you can walk...
