Cascata dos Poios — Attraction in Vila de Rei

Starting from the N348 road you will have a 250m level descent in about 1250m with some moderate descents, some parts with help of ropes or wires to get down to the waterfall but believe me when I say it will be worth.

The atmosphere is beautiful with not much water in August but still green stands out and shade dominates the trail.

Some little lakes with clean water and gorgeous landscapes. The imponence of the rock walls that stand from both sides.

The hill climb back to the start is not easy but the trail deserves every drop of your sweat.

Not recommended for children or people with weak...

Estacionámos junto à estrada que vem de vila de Rei e descemos um caminho amplo, mas íngreme é difícil de circular com o carro. Depois seguimos o percurso assinalado, que julgo fazer parte da rota da prata e do ouro, que é difícil de fazer com crianças ou pessoas de mobilidade reduzida, mas vale bastante a pena para quem gosta de apreciar a natureza.
