Came here in mid Nov with my toddler kid. Not a busy season at all. We arrived at the car park at 8:15am, not much cars, only a couple of caravans. I was amazed by the magnificent view from the car park.

We took our time walking down the stairs. My 3 year old managed to go down and back up again so it wasn’t a difficult walk to the beach.

There were less than ten surfers in the morning. The air was a bit chilly and refreshing around 8-9am but it was very warm in the sun. The tide wasn’t high and there was a big part of the beach was flat. The sand was very soft there. We were playing sandcastle.

We were walking along the beach to the cave. We could see the cave from the outside and there was no water. Safe for kids.

Some surfers were doing stretching in complete no clOths, no Fs given.

It got very warm in the sun after 9:30am. Listening to the waves made me feel that things will just get...

Very spacious and not-as-touristy beach located in Sagres area. The only downside to me is that we went on an afternoon and it was quite windy, which made it almost cold to be at times (I fully had my clothes on). Therefore, I would recommend its visit during the morning time as the temperatures might be higher to counter the wind. It is a good beach to stopover on your way to “Cabo of San Vicente”. The views from the entrance are beautiful. Mind you, the stairway on your way up is quite fatiguing. There is a small restaurant if you want to grab a snack or a drink which only...
