The Lake of Congro is situated at the bottom of a crater. The surroundings are amazingly green. One can actually get down to the water's edge. There is a short dirt road to the first parking area. There is the official parking lot further in. When we visited, the road was quite hard, without too many holes so it did not cause a problem to the car. An easy hike down (about 10-20min) and you will be rewarded with a super nice view of the lake. The hike down is nicely done and you won't have to climb or take big steps. We'd recommend coming here a bit later in the afternoon, since you will encounter less people (we came around 5.30pm and were the only once there when we arrived, more people...
