We spent our summer holiday (July, 2022) in Natur Water Park Vila Real. We always spend our summer holiday here since 2019. Our experience is always good and wonderful.

Nature Water Park has 3 main attractions for the visitors: Aquatic Park with outdoor pool. Camping Park Adventure Park

Every year this place is a must for us to visit for our holiday. They start to have a new water attraction in each year which is good to attract more visitors.

Pros: I advise you to do reservation earlier if you want to stay in their bungalows or mobile homes. It is difficult to find room if you book to close to the dates you intend to stay.

This year, you must stay minimum 5 nights and they don't provide any towels and bed sheets.

They will give a discount for aquatic park ticket if you stay in the camping ground or bungalows or mobile homes.

They offer many options for bungalows and mobile homes (with or without kitchen, with or without bathroom). The price is different. You can call them to clarify about prices.

We already stayed in all rooms they have: bungalow with kitchen, bungalow without kitchen, mobile home with bathroom, and mobile home without bathroom.

Since we are 3, I think mobile home with bathroom is the perfect place for us. It is enough with small fridge. And we eat in their restaurant for lunch and dinner.

The parking is free and quite large for many vehicles.

Parking accessible for wheelchair.

Entrance accessible for wheelchair.

They will give you bracelet as a ticket to enter to the Aquatic Park. You can enter and leave as many as you want. The bracelet must be always in your arm.

Each bracelet has different colors to identify from where we are. Since we are staying in the bungalows, we have green bracelet.

The Aquatic Park is very big. They have 2 main pools with many water attractions to try. It is better to always accompanied your kids here for the safety.

They rent umbrellas and benches for the visitors if they need. It must be paid in front while you pick up the umbrella or bench.

They have cafes inside the Water Park if you want fast food like hot dogs and ice cream.

Restaurant Natur Water Park Natur Water Park also has a restaurant near the entrance. The food is cheap and in good portion. The taste is always good and delicious. It is worth every euro here. The service is fast. The staffs are very kind and friendly. They accept payment in cash or Multibanco.

Playground There is a playground near the entrance for the kids to play. We often spend our time here with our son after dinner since the weather is too hot.

There is a toilet for free for the visitors inside the Water Park.

Adventure Park is worth-trying if you have many free time.

If you stay in mobile home without bathroom or camping park, they have free bathroom to use. Next to the public bathroom, there is a place where you can do barbecue. It is free of charge.

Cons: We stayed in the bungalows without kitchen. I don't like the placement of the TV since it...

I’m here today, after a 4 year interval (been here for 4 days also lodged in a bungalow), and the staff is clearly less emphatic, generally seems that they are here to do their jobs without knowing what they’re doing, above all, that they sell a fully dispensable service (that has some competition not very far away) that can be only distinct from another through the personal relationship with the customer! Miserable! Moreover, at least two equipments are not in service (the two ones among the biggest they have) and the reason, apparently, is because the powergrid that supplies the area has not enough power to support all the water pumps running! Customer has no clue when doing it’s reservation, specially online! Disappointing! |Restaurant accepts reservations but you have to be there at 12 AM(15 minute tolerance), otherwise you loose it and go to the waiting list! Usually into a park that open it’s doors at 10AM, you don’t expect to have your lunch at 12-12:20AM! Some pools need attention very soon, the paint of the floors is peeling! Worst than that, is the “picanha” (romp/filet stake) ( the quantity is more then enough I must say) is barely chewable, because is immensely tough, and the cut is super thick! It's definitely not an acceptable filet steak, and even less that we have to pay €39 for it, despite the generous quantity! |Approaching one of the waiters, he run to the kitchen and my kids (kitchen was in their line of sight) saw the cook shouting at him (a very young boy), and he came back nervous , saying, that picanha was the only one they have and that nobody else had any complaint about it, so I had to pay for it, regardless I eat it or take it with me, which I did (at least the meat can be minced and I can make mashed potatoes). |All in all, customer has no option, the rule is : “our way or the highway “! |There’s no sense at all about what is a customer, or what they should do to positively impress someone to have them again and again! This experience is very bad, and honestly next time in a water park, won’t be here! Amarante water park was a far better experience! Even Fafe, despite being a...

We visited the water park so can’t judge the rooms. Kids 12 and 14 loved it. Nice slides. Some hints for non Portugese speaking guests:

Almost all signs are in Portuguese but staff is friendly and helpful. Read the English website in advance.

Umbrellas and sunbeds can be rented and paid when you buy tickets. At the beginning of the park is a small window where you will get the umbrellas and someone will walk you to where you want to sit. They won’t help you carry the umbrellas or sunbeds.

There is some shade near trees. These spots are the first spots taken. However the sun turns during the day so if you choose smartly you may have shade in the afternoon.

Also there are lockers at 5 euros a day. They come with a 6 digit code to unlock (strangely not linked to the nfc bracelet everyone had to wear).

We paid all drinks, lockers, ice and food with bank card (website states you need to charge the bracelet with funds. We didn’t). There is just a minimum charge of eur 3 if you pay with a bank card (eg two ice creams).

Some stairs lead to multiple slides. It can be a bit confusing how to queue. In our case the left side of the stairs was for one slide and the right side for the other but that changed during the...
