Medieval Tower of a quadrangular plant, located in a small spur between the Couto rivers, to the south, and the north. The entrance to the tower was made by the gate in an existing Ogival arc on the south side. Inside are visible to the marks of three floors. The archaeological excavations performed there allowed hundreds of fragments of ceramic pots of pots, billets, dishes, etc. Two recently restored pots are exposed at the Municipal Museum. Beautiful area to relax with family on a hot day. A river on either side, with swimming possible in the area next to the children's playground (with a slide, swings, and a seesaw). Also several areas to sit and eat, and even several barbeque areas and one brick wood-burning pizza oven! And of course the old medieval tower to admire under the shade of the huge,...

Acredita-se que esta torre medieval tenha sido erguida no final do século XIII ou no início do século XIV. Terá sido habitada até ao final do século XVI ou início do século XVII. Na primeira metade do século XVII, foi seu senhor Diogo Gomes de Lemos, comendador da Ordem de Cristo, falecido em 1651, no Porto. Em algum momento de sua história sofreu um incêndio. Torre senhorial, apresenta planta no formato quadrangular, em aparelho de granito. Internamente era dividida em três pavimentos, sendo acedida pelo piso intermediário através de uma porta em arco ogival. Este acesso era encimado por um balcão com mata-cães, com a função de defendê-lo, do qual resta a sua base. Em redor da Torre possui um socalcos onde cada socalco possui um grelhador, mesas, bancos e sombras. A poucos metros da Torre existe uma...
