Dear new management , i m a regular user of you facilities and i am in shock to ear that you are going to remove all the fixed cats who are living since years there. I aware about the huge job done by volunteers and members of your golf club , to feed , neuter and treat the cats , all cost free for your company !!!!!!. they give a enormous help to the golf , by keeping the high standard that you need to keep your custumers ! Since ,you did not had any new kittens , any unfriendly cats , any smelly urine spurt made by unneuter catboy !!!! no ! you only faced healthy friendly cats ! Now you change your mind ! great , me too ( no more golf club time ?) ! because what ll happen now ? soon after removing the current cats ( sending them to the long road to death by starving them of food and water in the desert.......hope you soul can survived with that !!!! ) new cats will arrived , not healthy , not clean , not spayed ......and they will multiple very very quickly , and you ll never have the help that you got before .....and the word will be sprayed around doha and more ,about what you did and what you ll have to do ( removing them again , and again .....) So , please , change you mind , understand that the small quantity of healthy cats in your golf club is a protection for you and your players ! have a walk all round doha and look ! million of unheathy cats are roaming , just waiting to access a beautiful place like the golf , where friendly player will feed them and help them to mate and have more kittens !!! It's the time to show that you are smart , and you want the best for your company , and the best is not to remove them , it is to keep them to protect you ! cats are territorial , the colony you have is protecting you from new comer...

Read moreManagement has taken the ill conceived decision to 'remove' all the cats which reside on the outskirts of the Golf Club. These cats are cared for, fed and have been neutered by dedicated volunteers, at no cost to the golf club.
Removing these cats will allow new, un-neutered and un-spayed cats to enter the territory, and thus increase rather than solve the perceived problem.
The argument of reduced wildlife population does not stand, as no evidence is provided (ie. an extensive population survey accounting for extraneous factors over several years, or at least several seasons) that numbers have actually reduced. The cats pose no threat to the health and safety of the club. In fact, there are many other health and safety issues at play which I would deem a much higher priority for the club (smoking indoors for example).
I urge the golf club to reconsider their decision. 'removal' of the cats means imminent death. Please work together with the many willing volunteers to make the Golf Club a safe and enjoyable location for all creatures- people, cats and...
