We opted to stay for the overnight stay and it was worth it by far! We had a wonderful time at the fireside dinner where we were served farm to table portions of vegetables, poultry and lamb. Everything was so good. Before that we were able to harvest our own veggies around the farm during our personalized tour around the more than 50 acre property. Staying overnight in the luxury tent was an experience to remember. But, before that we sat around the fire listening to live jazz played by ver taken artists.

Fast forward to breakfast, and we had options to temp any appetite. The food again was all house made with farm to table items straight from the farm itself. My daughter and I capped off the experience with massages before leaving. My therapist was Shan and I can’t speak any real clarity on how beneficial and needed the massage was for me. He was able to help me more than I knew I needed help, if that is understandable. I’m leaving the farm dealing relaxed and spiritually cleansed because of the experience. I recommend for anyone coming to Heenat Salma Farms to ask for Shan as a therapist if you have the time.

My family and I came here for a bonfire dinner. This was one of the most beautiful, authentic desert experiences that we’ve had.

Firstly, the concept of this farm is fantastic, connecting people back to nature. The produce is natural, organic and locally grown, and there is a large focus on sustainability and ethical farming. You can help harvest the vegetables and be involved in the process, or take a cooking course. You can see how the food is being cooked and purchase some local produce. Both the vegetarian and meat options tasted incredibly delicious. There is also a small shop with wool covers, abayas, etc. You can also choose to stay overnight in the elegant tents (glamping).

Secondly, the design is stunning. The interior design reflects the rich local culture and provides a sense of community and inclusiveness. You can have an elegant dinner around the bonfire in a circular seating underneath the stars. There is a seamless outside-in atmosphere.

Finally, the overall experience was delightful. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. We were well looked after and were provided with everything we wished for and more. Within 40 minutes from Doha, you can be in the heart of the desert with this...
