I visited the Anser Gallery at the Old Airport branch today (July 22nd) to browse some colognes, as I usually like to window shop before deciding on a purchase. While exploring, I came across a fragrance I used to wear years ago (Narciso Rodriguez for her), it was a gift back then , so I picked up the tester to check it out. As I was picking the tester , one of the sales staff (a Filipina lady) approached me and asked me to move and try a different set of perfumes that were priced much lower (around 25QAR), while the ones I was originally looking at were priced above 300 QAR. This made me feel judged and looked down on, as if I didn’t belong or couldn’t afford the higher-end fragrances. It was honestly upsetting. No customer should be made to feel “less than” based on assumptions. Good customer service should treat everyone equally and with respect, regardless of what they look like or what they might buy.
