Visitor Center Ceala — Attraction in Arad

Located in Lunca Muresului National Park, Ceala Visitor Center is situated in the midst of Ceala Forest, in close proximity to the city of Arad. Finished in 2006, it is used by the Park Administration as a home base for native species/habitat protection activities. Due to its ease of access through trails and paved roads, Ceala Visitor Center is the starting point for many recreational and educational activities: cyclism, jogging, ecotours, bird watching and canoeing/boating on the Mures river. Ceala Visitor Center features a display of old, traditional objects and a native animal/insect exhibit. Brochures presenting native species of animals, fish and insect are available, and two interactive displays insure access to comprehensive knowledge about the area. Canoe trip down the river Mures, was for our group an experience that any tourist can enjoy it, relaxing by gently rocking or admiring the calm and serenity of the landscape. After a few hours in the canoe, we left the craft to visit briefly town Pecica: Cathedral Catholic, Buffalo Farm & Visitor Centre in Pecica, where you can admire around 20 copies of buffaloes. In the afternoon we continued the walk - this time on foot - through the natural landscape typical of the meadow, on the opposite bank of the river Mures, crossing the bridge and visiting Serbian Orthodox monastery Bezdin. Here we find also the wildest area, namely the "heart" of Mures Floodplain Natural Park. In all the places we walked along or in canoes, the dominant impression was of wealth landscape meadow and also a experience that leads us coming back...

Este un loc care ar putea fi fabulos, daca cineva si-ar da mai mult interes. Experienta noastra este cea de familie cu copii. Puncte forte: (1) este o locatie frumoasa pentru o plimbare in aer liber, pentru a se bucura de speciile de plante si pasari care exista in acest loc; (2) exista un loc de joaca unde copiii se pot distra inainte si dupa drumetie. Puncte slabe: (1) nu exista personal de paza: oricine poate parca cum doreste, oricine poate arunca gunoaie unde doreste etc.; (2) expozitiile nu sunt valorificate pentru ca nu este personal care sa prezinte ceva copiilor; (3) padurea nu este curatata, tiroliana si panoul de catarare sunt demult uitate; (4) aleile ar putea fi imbogatite cu mai multe panouri informative; (5) nu este clar daca cararile sunt pentru pietoni sau biciclisti vitezomani: poate deveni periculos pentru copii.
