Prima statie majora pe traseul de urcare Izvorul Muntelui - Cabana Dochia (banda rosie) din Parcul National Ceahlau, la circa 1200 m altitudine, cu priveliste superba asupra peretilor stancosi din Vf. Ocolasul Mic. La pas marunt, se ajunge de jos in circa o ora jumatate. Pe traseu pana in Poiana exista surse de apa, inclusiv doua izvoare amenajate. Traseu nerecomandat fara echipament de munte... Focul deschis este interzis, ca de altfel peste tot in Parcul...
