The monastery had a celebration going when we arrived and they had baked goods and cabbage rolls (sarmala’s) with locally bred fish, I think - and the nuns were sweet enough to sample us a little bit of their feast :) the food was delicious, the monastery had a well maintained architecture (in the local rustic style) and the surrounding place itself...
