A beautiful park named after one of Romania's most famous political men of the 20th century, contributor to our national identity and progress. It has a little palace that was refurbished a few years ago and it is actually the palace' s garden. It has 2 playgrounds for kids and a lot of adorable alleys to walk around. It is a pleasure to visit, too bad it lacks a few public features like more toilets or places to get some water during hot days of summer. Read moreThe park used to be the one of the many residences of Alexandru Marghiloman, a former Romanian Prime Minister (1918). It has tree lanes, a lake and a castle. During the comunist regime, it became a farm and people were working to grow and reap vegetables. After the regime fell, the castle within it was left in ruins, which was nice for us kids because we used to play hide and seek within its walls. Read moreThe park has been newly reabilitated and looks great. The former palace of Alexandru Marghiloman is now the new place for wedding ceremonies. The park itself is quite big. There are benches and water founfains around. There is playgroind for little kids where grandparents come usualy in the evening. There is also a lake where you can feed the fishes, and see some little turtles. There are only 2 portable toilets but no signes on how to get to them.
