well the place is nice as swimming pool, but the Restaurant called LNKO by Santorini, they are a big mafia, one sandwich of giros cost 27 lei and the plate of giros cost 32 lei, which is OK if they use the correct gramaj, they do ot use any kind of scale and the amount of food is ridiculously under the amount posted and paid for, I had my wife with me and I didn't want to make an issue out of it as she was waiting for this visit from long time, but I think costomer protection should be called for this place, as they don't even have any food safety procedures not to mention the playing with the amount of food sold.....sorry but you really disappointed me, Aaa by the way, I did pay for the food but I did not take it, so I hope you enjoy it your self.....!
Below is few yett very important working procedures to help improve your operation:
1- All employees should wash their hands for 20 second with soap and warm water before entering behind the food line and after eating, smoking, using the rest room, touching their face body or hair, when they change tasks on the food line and as often as possible.
2- in the normal days of operation not mentioning the covid 19 situation, all utensils, napkins, salt and peper should be handed by your employees and not self service as it's now.
3- all your employees should be wearing hats covering their hair while behind the line.
4- you should have a bucket of water and bleach solution with concentration between 50 to 200 ppm with recommendation of using 100ppm to sanitize the food lines after each use.
5- you should have tracking logs for the food in your fridges and on displays with correct recording for temperature control and time control items.
6- all your food products should be correctly labelled and logged for food safety handling.
7- Your employee should not be wearing watches, rings or bracelets while working and no long nails.
8- Food tongs should not be left inside the food while not in use and should be washed frequently and should not stay on the line for more then four hours, then should be replaced.
9- All food items on room temperatures should be labelled and covered. ( Salad bar should be kept on cold display for no longer then 4...
Read moreI'll open by saying that back in 2018-2019 Divertiland was a mostly pleasant experience. However, after the pandemic, the place looks ran down and unkept in places ( lights don't work in bathrooms, not all sun beds have sun umbrellas, etc). The big pool and the wave pool are clean and rather pleasant but this is were the list of good things stop. We visited on a Monday and 3/4 of the restaurants were closed, you could get coffee but no place to get a croissant or donut or anything to go with it for a quick breakfast, the only option was a small bag of chips for 18 lei.
For lunch only options were 35lei menus of frozen French fries and nuggets, mozzarella sticks or other obviously store brought frozen meats ( shnitzel, strips, ect). The sauce is not included and is 4 lei per small hellman's mayo or ketchup. The other option is a burger joint with the same fries but paired with burgers are 38 lei for a normal burger or 40 for a cheesburger. Both places open at 12 so if you want to eat before that, tough luck.
The staff is slow and unprofessional, there seem to be some bee nests around because there were bees everywhere around the restaurants. Seeing how this is mostly a place for children, I find it absolutely ridiculous that those menus don't come with an at least slightly healthier option, like an extra orange juice and salad.
Lastly, one third of the water slides were closed, and while the music got better in the afteroon, in the morning it resembled manele suspiciously much.
All in all, a horrid experience and nothing like what we remembered ( probably why it's not so full anymore, or at least wasn't when we visited). For the same price, just visit the super elegant alternative...
Read moreThis is a great place to spend time and have fun on a hot day of summer: you have water pools and slides, several bars and restaurants all gathered in one place. It’s a bit far from bucharest: on the A1 highway but if you plan to spend the whole day on its premises, it’s worth it. We went there for a birthday party and it was a successful one: the kids were thrilled by the water slides and all the fun they provided; but also the smoothies and ice drinks from the bar were appealing to them. One of the main pools provides with a foam party later on the day (I believe around 5 o’clock in the evening) so you don’t have time to get bored at all. for lunch, most of us wanted to have pizza but some wanted ro see the options that place offered when it comes to food so there was also a tour of the places that sold anything that could be consumed as “fuel” that should provide with energy for more fun on the water slides. And there were a few more places to visit and all of them offered mostly barbecue, grilled meats, sausages, burgers and lots of sweet desserts. So if you are a vegetarian there can be a bit of a problem when finding something non meaty or a bit light to be consumed on the spot but for sure you won’t starve here. This place has also a few offers when it comes to buying tickets: from pirchasing them online to group tickets and also offers like “buy one get one free” (on wednesdays)
As a minus for what happens at Divertiland, because of the many people that visit it, there can be a bit of dirt that one carries from the green areas to the water and into the pools but all together I recommend this place for bath, fun...
