2 people. We've been here on a Saturday noon.

The way there: Close to a 30min drive from Bucharest, on DN-5 road and once you get there you're lucky if you can find a parking spot. (It's crazy in the weekend) Parking is free at least.

Routes, climbing equipment and maintenance: The equipment for climbing is okay. The routes are various in terms of difficulty for both adults and kids. Just to point out a few flaws in some of the routes not being secured due to lack of maintenance. The staff is mostly at the beginning of the climb, so you're mostly on your own, if you don't have a partner or someone to look out from below for you, if you go further on.

Facilities: There are two terrace restaurants nearby that are decent. Mostly grill stuff and beverages. Two restrooms nearby and one on the other side of the lake. Two of the restrooms were closed. CLOSED!.. During rush-hour Saturday noon visit. (Those restrooms were free to use, by the way)

Verdict: Very crowded during weekends, barely found a decent parking spot. Still thinking about that only toilet being open. (We generally lack public toilets/restrooms in our country...even paid ones)

Advice: If you've got the time to come here during weekdays, go for it! It's basically...

Comana Adventure Park is another adventure park near Bucharest that you can visit, recommended during weekdays or in low season (make sure to give a call prior to your visit to check if open). This location is by a lake and you have a picnic area available. There are plenty of things to do and you can be sure your day will be full.

As with all fun places, this is busy during holidays and weekends and the prices are more budget-friendly. Here you will have the option to do activities on high ropes or wall climbing.

There is a small horse stall and you can book horse riding sessions or play with the mini horses.

When is good weather you can also rent a boat to go around the lake.

The thing I liked the most is that you can book accommodation in the park and relax walking around or having great traditional food in one of the restaurants (there were a few open in the park).

There are two nearby free parking in 10-15 min walk from the park. Parking inside the park is permitted to the guests that book accommodation.

This is a budget-friendly experience for families and to go with a...

The place has a way too small parking place. I've got frustrated even before entering the parc. No signs anywhere where to park, where is the entrance... Then, inside the chaos felt high. Again, no helpful signs for visitors: where to go, that to do, etc. Understaffed and crowdy. The rules are only mandatory for the people who wants to listen. The employees are nice and helpful but not enough of them. If you don't know the place, you feel trapped and not relaxed. The tree trails are not marked in any way, you don't know which one is suitable for a kid tall up to 130cm or more, or less. They don't have any digital tracking system whatsoever so you can use the tyrolean across the lake more than 3 times. The food inside is expensive: 0.5l bottle of water is 8lei (in a market the same in 3lei), any ice cream is 20. Bottom of line: the place needs an upgrade in services, better organization, better management. I saw better in other places so I know they can do better....

What a beautiful & wonderful gem but so pity is not properly promoted - Comana - the Neajlov Delta a place of 22 hectars wide A place for joy & serenity at only 1 hour distance by car from Bucharest, towards Giurgiu county (~38 km). From fun for kids 3-16 years old (tiroliană & tree climbing 70 lei for 3 hours , to small boat trips in the Delta 60 lei for 1 hour) to a place for picnic or a place of silence (near the water) and serenity on the hill near Turnul Soarelui , also with 2-3 big restaurants near the water, with various food. Great investment there, with beautiful buildings and hotel (Clădirea Poştalionului, Turnul Soarelui, Restaurantul de pe lac) , plenty visitors, but pity there are only Romanias, when this gem should be revealed to foreign tourists !! I believe that a good experienced marketing manager would be able to place Comana into the real turism map of Romania 🇷🇴
