The slopes are good and well maintained. You can ride from one to the other, there is no really predefined path on where you should go, which is nice. They are marked if you wanna keep on a slope, but you have the freedom to go to another easily. The whole place is just freedom. People do not cram together and there is enough space for everyone to ride, freely, at his own pace. View is amazing!

I would have given it 5 start but cannot: the access road from the Oasa lake until the resort is a mess. Over 20+ km of off-road with ice and mud/stones and with a normal car you will hit the ground/ice with the sump shield or front bumper which is really unpleasant. The idea is to go ski/snowboard and not destroy your car. Recommended: a tall 4x4 equipment rental/repair: unavailable/closed you have to drive back couple of km to find some equipment if you don't own one/have a damage to yours and need a quick repair. -sad to see that in the couple of years since the resort exists, nobody gave a s* about the road to the resort and have to drive 20+ km in over 1h-1:30h

Was nice, but I'll choose another resort. Fix the road till there or at least level it a bit...

Read the reviews of others and almost everyone is complain about the road. Yes, the local authorities can be easily blamed but that's not an excuse. Make a complaint box, let people submit their complains about the road and sue the local authorities for losing customers, based on the complaints. Do something against it, not just blaming and...

PLEASE DO LOOK AT THE DIRECTIONS HOW TO GET HERE ON THEIR WEBSITE -

We trusted Google Maps navigation on how to reach this place, and it sent us southwards past Cugir, which is ‘exactly’ the route that the administrators of this ski area highly discourage. This led us through mountain roads which slowly turned into ice, and at 2.5 hours in, the road literally became too icy and steep for us to continue: it led us to glide backwards off the mountain road..

Since the only possibility was to turn around, it took us another 2.5 hours to reach Cugir again... We spent ~5 hours in the mountains without being able to reach the ski area, and had to abandon our plans for a day of skiing. This is of course absolutely not the fault of the administrators, but let it be an example of why you need to prepare yourself well for your trip here, and don’t blindly trust on technology. Take snow...

Of course, the road - from Oasa to the ski resort - complete nightmare. Decent parking, could be improved, even a bit more extended. The stairs climbing from the parking towards ski slopes - not cleaned of ice. You need to pay attention to the smallest step you take. Skilift - decent, not too rough, good speed, smooth delivery. 🙂 Skichair, hard (fiberglass), 3 persons chair - very rough at the start, hitting the back side of legs quite hard; moving quite slow, can be really uncomfortable when it's windy. The delivery is rubbish, not suitable for small children, having difficulties in getting of the chair. Then the slopes - marvelous, plenty to chose from with different difficulties. Stunning views from the top. Very nice apreskis, with various choice of beverages. All in one, it is a good place to go skiing, mostly if you have no better choices (like Austria).

The nature here is so amazing, the views are stunning and the snow is gorgeous. Everything nature related is just perfect. Why 2 star? That's because of how the resort is managed. In March when the sun rises at 7am the resort is opening the at 10am. They close at 5pm while the sun sets after 6pm. The toilet at the top of the chairlift is awful. A wooden shed with a jigsaw cutout. The apres ski, both at the top and bottom are not very well staffed and the service is poor. The products they serve are overpriced for what they are. I am not even getting started about the road everyone talks about. In addition the personnel that are supposed to help skiers when getting on or off the chairlift, they are either surfing the apps on their phones or busy smoking while pretending to assist. They really need to step up the game in terms of services.
