Entry 15 RON (10 after 16h). Interior/exterior freshwater pools, kiddy pools, waterslides (paid extra), salt water pool, salt water lake. In the lake, there are only about three wooden planks to sit on, in the water, each about 5-10 meters long. The lake is 4m+ deep and nowhere to stand/sit except the stairs and those few planks, but the water is very salty, so it keeps you up.
There are many sunbeds with shades, 5 RON.
The interior showers have curtains, some of them do not have shower heads, but the ones that work, do it reasonably well.
The toilets are not pristine clean, but they are functional and there is paper. I'm not sure how often they clean them - people can be filthy animals if it's not theirs.
Neither the showers, nor the toilets or the changing booths are gender separated.
There are two changing booths, with three hangers inside.
At the reception/cashier, there is a swimming accessories (caps, goggles, swimsuits) vending machine.
The cashier gives you a thin plastic bracelet that you have to wear until you go home. Being on the premises without a bracelet means a 200 RON fine.
The deposit for the locker - if you need one - is 10 RON. You get it back when you return the key. The box is spacious, about 170 cm high, with two hangers and a shoe shelf on the bottom. The key is a metal one, with a plastic tag. You can bring it in the water, if you don't lose it.
There is a grill restaurant on the premises, offers various grilled meats+French fries+ plastic cutlery, 15 RON per plate. Chilled beverages are also available. Solid wooden tables and chairs are nearby, under shade. There is also a fast food vendor at the gate, along with a kürtős kalács vendor (12 RON a big cone), I think I saw ice cream, as well.
The open air parking is usually full, many people park on the roadside. A police car arrived in the afternoon, probably to supervise the people at the spa entrance, but they were OK with the roadside parking. It's always tempting for pickpockets, at these crowded places. My respects for the officers, keeping the order, in their shirts in the 30+ degrees heat.
There are also rooms for rent, I think 100 RON per night.
All in all, a good experience. The toilets could have been cleaner, hence...
Read moreI am absolutely disappointed and devastated. I came here on 22 September 2024. Everywhere it said it was open and when we arrived, no one was there. It was closed. Even when we called, it said the phone number was not in service. We looked everywhere and it said that it should be open from 9 to 20 but on the main door it said closed. Without an explanation. Waste of time. Even Google Maps said it's open. What happened? We came because of the reviews. Now 2 weeks, someone enjoyed their time here very much. But now it's closed?! And we didn't even know! On the Internet it says it's open....
