Initially, when we documented which places to visit, we were thinking to skip this place, but along the way got a recommendation to visit it and since we were few km away, we did it and there were no regrets. It is easy to reach there, since it's on the main road. It's small, not too much time to spend here, but the guide present the museum as a story, with a very nice local accent. It's a pleasure to listen to her (probably the presentation is only in Romanian language). We found information from her about some traditional objects or traditions which we seen in other places in this part of the country, but which we could not initially understand the purpose or the meaning.

When we got there, the lady that had to give the your was busy with another group, so my mum, dad, partner and myself just went and looked all around. Very beautiful house and interesting to see all the old tradition. My mum and dad left early so the lady gave us 2 the tour and didn't take payment for my parents because they didn't get the tour which i think was very nice of her. Lots of interesting facts I didn't know about1

The museum is a small (by modern standards, but big/rich, by 100 years ago standards) household in Northern Transilvania, in a village special in that it is a women led society, and which has been preserved in its original rustic state. The guide is a local old lady full of the local grandparents charm and who loves to present everything using the appropriate age vocabulary to match the century old reality. To get an idea of her dedication, we visited the place on the 31st of December, and it was open and still waiting for scheduled buses of tourists...
