The short version would sound like this: pleasant, different and enjoyable.
If you are traveling through Hunedoara county, near Deva city, you can find something out out of the ordinary, almost unique. It is a pleasant and almost hidden, but well maintained garden.
This place is about at 10 to 15 minutes drive from the Deva city. It is situated near a hill which it gives the garden a rather unique placement ( as far as I'm concerned). This is also an advantage.
At the entrance, there is a parking lot which should be able to accommodate on gravel about 30 cars and about 20-30 cars on the . . . grass/ lawn.
Before entering the garden there are some stalls that sell souvenirs ( small fridge magnets ~1€ a piece, key chairs ~ 1€ a pice, etc ). There also was a stall that sells some sweet stuff like: homemade chocolate ( we call them "batoane" ), halvah - I hope I wrote it correctly, some loli pops, etc.
After passing the stalls, you enter the first part of the garden, which is a nice gravel road, a small sidewalk and a prototype, or should I say a mini garden. After about 50 meters, you'll find the cashier, which will request you to pay the entrance fee. The entrance fee is 10 Ron ~ 2,2€/ person.
You can also have a wedding/ other event photoshoot, but that will cost you 250 ron ~ 51€ euros.
To the left, part of the garden is built on the side of the hill. It has various sidewalks, that intertwine with each other. In front you can see a green meadow, with perfect trimmed bushes, a central sidewalk and two fountains with water. To the right, there is the gravel sidewalk, some benches and a cupola of sorts.
The garden has lots of trees, coniferous ones and some other type. This is a big plus, because it adds to the beauty and attraction of the place. It also has roses and other flowers. I have to say that the place feels soothing and it is pretty quiet.
You can visit this garden, wholly, in about 30 minutes at a slow pace. On top of that you have to add the time spent on admiring it, or admiring the moment or taking pictures.
I do recommend this place if you are passing by and want a change of scenery.

Beautiful garden very similar with the Italian gardens. First sensation is that you have entered the gardens of heaven. It is a quiet place where you can take a walk, enjoy the tranquility, enjoy nature and have some relaxation time. The place it still work in progress as the owner has an ambitious project to plant much more beautiful plants/flowers. At the entrance there is a parking lot. Inside the garden you can walk and sit on a bench for some moments. Would be great if more benches would be available in different locations. There is no open bar, caffetteria, toilet or restaurant in this location yet (but I do not know the final plans of the owner). It is a great place to take photos. The scenary is one of kind in Hunedoara county. Congratulations to the owner for the wonderful ideea and for the ambitious project. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

During spring time (in April) you can see all the tulips in full bloom (see the pictures), a marvel! In every season the flowers are different...
Every year we can see improvements, new paths, new gardens, new sculptures!
This hidden treasure is a beautiful garden well designed and mantained at European standards! The entrance fee is 20 lei per petson (on 2024), it was only 5 lei per person (at the beginning of June 2019) and it worths every single "penny". The lady selling tickets was very lovely and polite and answered with pleasure some of our questions. It has a clean toilet... the paths and designs are lovely. Some may require more attention to details but at that scale is absolutely amazing what a good job they do maintaining it! There was a team preparing a "live cooking show" there... there are some water features and few stone sculptures...

This is senior Giovanni, the mastermind and hard work of these 20 years work in progress that are I Giardini Di Zoe. I met him in the shadow of one of this chestnut tress whilst he was watching the visitors passing by together with his great friend and business partner. A simple man with a grand vision.
When stepping into the gardens you'll be welcomed by the mesmerizing roses scent, transcending you into a beautiful dream that is this garden. This, of course, if you're visiting when they are în bloom.
Words are not enough to make it justice but I'll tell you this, is absolutely worth the visit and the 20 lei/person entry fee. Do make it a must on your bucket list. I know I shall return in spring to visit them again and have another chat with senior Giovanni.

I had the opportunity to visit Giardini di Zoe in the month of August and was thoroughly impressed by the beauty and tranquility of this small Italian inspired garden. The garden is extremely well maintained and boasts a wide variety of flowers that add to its charm and beauty. It was a wonderful place to relax and unwind, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. While it may be a bit pricey for what it has to offer, I still believe it is worth a visit. The peaceful atmosphere and well-manicured grounds make for a truly enjoyable and relaxing experience. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Giardini di Zoe for anyone looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend some time in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

I Giardini di Zoe should not be missed. It is situated in the beautiful Hunedoara countryside amongst hills, rolling valleys and was influenced by an italian man.
Giardini di Zoe comprises a series of small gardens within a garden, but also with long avenues bordered by different plantings. The garden is famous for rare plants, lovely flowers and trees as well as its outstanding design features. There are spectacular fountains, wild flower areas0 with plenty of places to sit and take in the atmosphere.
See the long herbaceous borders which gives a great splash of colour.
Take your time to go round and don't forget to take the camera.
Can be crowded at weekends.
