A short scenic road leads from the main road to the reserve parking lot. You buy the tickets in the main building after entering the gate.
The toilet are right beside the main gate.
There is a 10 minute walk on a wide path from the entrance to the yard where the bisons are living.
On the yard there is a 100m fence where you can walk and see this huge beast.
It is a refreshing stop on the high way, very short visit there is not much to do there.
Tickets were 7 Lei for adult and 5 Lei for a kid.

A short walk through the trees. The bisons are well taken care of. There is a small one and a young one, the rest are all adults. They seem to enjoy the grass and the young ones tend to run around.
The road that leads here is narrow and only one car fits on it, so from place to place there are like small "parking spaces" and you can get around the other cars that are headed in the opposite way. There are 1-2 places with potholes, so be careful.

Wonderful place, well organized, clean and quiet, in the middle of nature, easy access from the main road, very friendly with animals, families with children, nature lovers. Paved road (asphalt) for 800 m from the gate and parking to the ranch of bisons, toilets at the gate, clean with running water, accessible for the whole year, good visibility of the wild beasts, observation decks solid and accessible for everybody (except for wheelchairs).

A must see. 7 superb animals, friendly and peacefully living their lives in one of the rarest places in Europe and in the entire world. If you are lucky some will come close to the fence where they usually get apples from visitors. Bisons are impressive in size, with an incredible ease of mobility. When I visited in July 2018 there were 6 adults and 1 baby bison. Hopefully, in time their number will grow. I really want that to happen.
