Cu mai putin efort de imaginatie decat pentru alte stanci cu denumirea de "sfinx", dar nici pe departe tot atat de usor de identificat ca si cel din Bucegi, Sfinxul Dobrogei face parte din ramasita Muntilor Hercinici de la noi din tara, din lantul Muntilor Macinului. Datorita faptului ca eroziunea celor peste 250 de milioane de ani de cand sunt i-a facut sa mai aiba doar cateva sute de metri acestia sunt usor de escaladat, dar privelistile din zona sunt printre cele...

Asta este una dintre numeroasele surprize de pe CUlmea Pricopanului. Este plina de tot felul de bolovani cu forme care mai de care mai ciudate. Daca privesti din unghiul potrivit iti poti lasa imaginatia sa umble in voie. Iar daca te mai si abati de la traseul marcat ai parte de tot felul de surprize placute.

Au încercat fraerii din Egipt să ne copieze și să facă un sfinx mai baban decât asta da și-au cam luat tzeapa că tot al nostru e mai blana. Țiganii din Egipt i-au spart nasul sfinxului. Noi inca avem nas la sfinx. 10/10
