The waterfall is simply fantastic. I've been visiting this area for years and had no idea about the Vanturatoarea waterfall. To get there is as simple as fallowing the road on Google maps and park your car at the end of the road after the bridge in front of the houses. Here you can find a sign pointing to Vanturatoarea waterfall and a marked path starts from there. To get to the waterfall you must hike for about one hour. The path in accessible, but do not expect a forest road. Once you arrive, you can pass under the waterfall, it' a great feeling. On return path it took about 25 minutes all the way down to the parking. One of the greatest waterfall in Romania. Hiking shoes and maybe some water...

Amazing place to see the water falling from above 40 meters Downfalls: you have to rock climb for about 3 hours if you are not doing this usually and don't have your body built for this. Going up it took about 3 hours and down another 2 hours. You need to be equipped with climbing shoes and sticks and lots of water. We took about 1.5 liters of water with us and it wasn't enaugh for 2 people. You can take water from the fall but it is not recommended. It was a...

I went there a few years ago (June 2017, to be more precise). I remember the hike was not easy at all, but it was totally worth it. I recommend going behind the waterfall and continuing walking just a bit more for different perspectives on the watterfall...

Very steep climb up the mountain but totally worth the effort. It was too busy on a Saturday. If you don't feel very secure on a steep slope that may be a bit intimidating. There were also quite a few mountaineers climbing the rock were the cascade plummets down. We just went up until the waterfall, which took us about 2 hours with regular breaks to catch our breath. Apparently you can go further up for a nice view, but we'll keep that for another time.

A wonderful walk in a vivid green forrest to a spectacular cliff and waterfall. The way there is up a steep forrested hill but it is not too hard. The way there took us about two hours walking very slowly and with multiple rest-stops. We only reached the waterfall and did not proceed any farther. The way back was less than an hour. The views from above are breath-taking.
