The Lutheran fortified church of Alma Vii — Attraction in Moșna

The fortified church and its towers were amazing. In exchange of a small fee you can visit the church and climb into the towers. The view from the bell tower over the village is astonishing. You can park your car either in small parking area near the street and then you can walk uphill or you can drive up on the gravel road to the parking area located between the church...

At the time of my visit (April 2022) the outside seems to be fully revamped and looking glorious. I couldn't find any info as to when it will be introduced to the tourist circuit but I do hope this will be very soon by the looks of it this church will be one of the stars among fortified churches alongside Biertan or Harman.

The walls and towers of the fortified church have been restored in 2016, the tower rooms now serving as a museum, a cultural and tourism centre for the local community and being administered by the Alma Vii Women Association.

Aside from simply visiting the place, there’s a good chance during summer that some events like a brunch or a outdoor concert is happening...
