I can't seem to get enough of this park, it's just so clean and well maintained, something you don't really see in most of the parks found in Bucharest. Even the lake's water is crystal clear. The athmosphere feels really fresh, natural and light. It isn't complety clean as you can find the random cigarette thrown about, it is still in Romania, but this isn't the parks issue and they surely try to keep it pristine. On weekends it is very hard to find a parking space, so it may be best for visiting during the working days. Prices are lower compared with the other places of Bucharest and you get what you pay for. If you want to eat something cooked you can find a grill at the opposite end from the palace (where most of the shops are located). I highly recommend visiting during summertime for strolls or a picnic with friends and/or family. You can visit the palace at any time and i can say it is simply gorgeous to look at and walk around when it's sunny outside. During winter the park is best visited at later times of the day as it is amazingly decorated, and if there is snow around it can look like a proper winter wonderland. There are plenty of good places for different photographic purposes and i haven't seen any bad photos of the place so far. The only downside of this park may be it's size, you can finish a full lap...

I was interested in seeing the Mogoșoaia Palace. It sits on a large piece of property and looks nice on the outside. However it's pretty bare on the inside. According to the tour guide the original furnishings were stolen by the communists during the Communist era. The few items inside were donated by a wealthy Romanian family, but mostly consisted of some rugs and a few wall hangings. Still there isn't much to see. There are some information hangings on the wall that tell about the family who originally occupied the palace and what happened to them during the time of the Ottoman Empire occupation. It's nice, but not a place that I'd care to see again. If you live close by it's a good place to visit to walk around and that they sometimes have...

The park is great, I love it, no doubt about that. But parking your car there in the weekend is literally a nightmare. The streets are narrow and the cars are parked on both left and right side of the road. People who live there don't like having cars parked in front of their entrances and you can have your car keyed by them. That's a nasty situation that happened to one of my friend at the last visit there, he had a deep scratch going from the front of the car, into the front door, continuing to the back door and ending in the back of the car, that just mean, he even had his phone number placed on the windshield. The lack of parking spots is a serious deterant. I recommend to avoid...

Overall, Mogoșoaia Park provides a harmonious blend of history, nature, and recreation, making it a nice destination for people seeking a peaceful retreat. For the most part, the park’s cleanliness contributes to its relaxing and inviting atmosphere. As with any public space, its cleanliness also depends on visitors respecting the environment and following the park’s rules. Upon entering through the southern gate, visitors are greeted by the inviting aroma of coffee and grilled delicacies from nearby cafes.

In the morning, hundreds of lights are on, when the sun is up...useless pollution, money out the window, but who cares...not the sleeping guard, nor the officials responsible...look at the photos and watch the cameras...if you don't have them, get at least one to save a fortune on energy and 'security ' bills Albeit nature and the Palace are mesmerising, authorities spoil it: they can only water the lawn if the lights all over the place are On! Imagine that for Waste, pollution and Incompetence
