Pârtia Piatra Grăitoare Vartop Bihor — Attraction in Nucet

Very nice slope for spring skiing. There is a parking lot, toilet and ski lift tickets available for purchasing, but sadly not much else since everything seems to have closed down for the season. The snow was terrific, the slope very well prepared for tourists and in the morning (11 am) the ski lift started for 4 people. Throughout the day, more people came but overall was a very pleasant experience, without having to wait in line or constantly watch over the shoulder for other skiers. The prices are pretty decent (55 lei for 6 lifts). I recommend packing food if you come here during the spring....

BROKEN LIFT, BROKEN LIGHTS!! Got here Wednesday and was quiet and slope was okay if a bit icy, by the weekend it had snowed and was nice for a day and a good ride Friday. Saturday was expectedly busy but the lift was broken half the morning. I went for night skiing and my lift card wouldn’t work, when it was fixed I had 3 rides and then the lift broke down again, when it was fixed the lights wouldn’t turn on so they closed for the day 1.5 hours early. Would not give refund for my lift tickets even though they couldn’t provide the service that I paid for. Terrible management and service! I will...

Nice place during winter season. This year we had 1.5m of snow. I never seen so much snow in my life. There are three different slopes: difficult, medium and easy (the forest road through the wood). The prices for the cable transport is a bit expensive. The parking lots are very crowded...
