I had an amazing experience at Ocnele Mari Salt Mine, one of the best in Romania to visit.
Finding a parking spot is a little bit challenging as there are not enough spaces but there can be found allong adiacent streets.
Thr process pretty is straight forward: you buy the ticket from the payoffice which is 30ron for an adult and then ambark in the bus.
The bus is clean and leaves as soon as it is full with seated people.
The salt mine is very large, being split in multiple huge rooms (more than 50), where you have multiple activities to do : admire multiple statues and admire their design, being made entirely out of blocks of salt eat at the restaurant which is of self service type play games as : football, basketball, ping-pong, mini-golf, etc. each of them having their own room visit the church which has a nice design and a lot of very very old artifacts etc. More to see youselves
The excavated rooms have some great patterns, also the floor being just a little bit slippery.
