Review for beginning of September 2022:
There are 2 parking areas around this attraction. I ended up in the second one, farthest from city center, and parking was free of charge.
From parking there is a walk to park's entrance, 5 minute walk on foot.
Access to thematic park is done after payment, card payment is possible.
It's a interesting are for kids to be able to see & explore castles / fortified church or other buildings from Transylvania / Romania.
Good signage & explanations for each replica in Hungarian, Romanian and English. A map at the park's entrance would be a great addition to show exact location of each replica.
Scale of buildings unfortunately is inconsistent, nor I've seen it specified. How big is castle X compared to castle Y? You cannot tell.
There is also a playground area for kids to play, rubbery flooring, slides, climbing ropes. Also a large TV playing specific cartoons about long forgotten tales. Unfortunately only in Hungarian language and no other schedule was available.
Close to the playground there is some food eating area, don't expect much, mostly fried/grilled meat, ice-cream witb eating tables on a semi-open patio.
Mobile coverage in the area was low quality for Vodafone and Digimobil. Luckily there is a free Wi-Fi near the food court to be able to find other info on the surrounding...
Read moreOur visit to Mini Transilvania Park near Odorheiu Secuiesc was absolutely delightful! This unique park showcases detailed miniature replicas of the most important historical buildings from Transylvania, offering a fascinating glimpse into the region's rich architectural heritage.
The park is beautifully maintained and provides a wonderful educational experience for both children and adults. Our daughter, who is 7 years old, was captivated by the intricate models and enjoyed exploring the various attractions. The miniature train ride was a particular highlight, adding an extra layer of fun to our visit.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had a memorable experience. The park's layout is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and enjoy all the exhibits. We highly recommend Mini Transilvania Park to anyone looking for an engaging and enjoyable day out. We will definitely...
Read moreI visted in sept 2022. I got there ar the opening hour, but gate was locked. 3 more cars with tourists came and we all stayed confused at the door for 30 minutes. We looked online for a phone number and eventually someone answered and said they are gonna send someone to open. 15 more minutes later a young guy came to open the gate and literally run back so he wouldn't interact with us and have to apologize. The young lady at the ticket desk raised her shoulders in sign of lack of care for us waiting 45min and didn't apologize in the behalf of the park, not even after l complained to her face for being rude. She ignored me and kept her hend out for the tickets money.
Cute park, well kept (grass and sourandings). The miniature castles look alright (some would require repainting). But for the rude behavior of the employees and their lack of respect for literally 11 ppl l...
