Oh man where do I even begin. First of all we went in July, maybe this is fun in December close to Christmas. Now the first warning sign is the ticket, 35RON for an adult and 25RON for children. I thought it's kind of expensive but hey, maybe visiting everything is free inside because we paid 100ron as a family of 3. BOY was I wrong.

I won't talk about drinks and food, we haven't had any as we ate before going in and I don't expect those to be free, but everything else from visiting the houses and the rides inside should be free. By rides i mean the lame train that goes in a circle twice, 20ron per person. That's all the rides you get. Okay fine it consumes electricity and you don't want people to go in it non-stop, just set certain hours or give some kind of ticket that people can use once.

Some houses cost money, some were closed. There's one in October I think, don't remember the name but the entrance fee is 20-25ron... BRO are you kidding me? We already paid your entrance fee, stop being so greedy, seriously. You want to tax people for rides and to go in houses? Fine, make the entrance fee la 5 ron or free then tax what you want to tax inside.

The ones that didn't have a tax and were open were totally uninteresting.

2-3 houses were closed, why? Who knows. You might want to let people know in advance that not everything is actually open.

2 houses at least didn't allow you to enter as you shouldn't touch anything inside GOD FORBID they have to replace 5ron worth of trash inside.

I really hope people stop visiting your poorly executed...

Pros: The park is very well built and organized. The decorations are colorful and really make you believe that you are in another world, somewhere truly magical and perfect for little kids and adults, too. You can visit houses that represent every month of the year, and take pictures. You can find relaxing areas, playgrounds for the little ones, and eating stations.

Cons: Most of the houses were closed, with signs saying that the persons managing the house were "busy" with other things. Also, some of the houses, such as May and November, are used as offices. It is disappointing for some kids that are born in those months and can't visit their own house. There are many children "traps" that cost money to use. You need to pay to go with the train, boats, or visit the hunted house. Two of the houses were stores. As I said above, traps. Overpriced sweets, dolls, souvenirs. There weren't activities. If your child would like to have fun, they have to find a way to entertain themselves. There were some games, such as throw the ring or mini golf, but the pieces are used and some broken.

Overall It's a magical place if you would like to go for pictures or to enjoy the decorations. There is a lack of fun activities and most of the houses are closed or used as an office.

In my opinion, the price of the tickets...

My wife and I visited The Story of the Calendar in Sibiu County in May. The 12 houses and garden were amazing, transporting us to a world of childhood stories. The gingerbread house was full of sweets, and there were many outdoor games for children. While it’s great for kids with its engaging workshops and play areas, we also enjoyed the beautiful houses and interactive experiences. The Story of the Calendar showcases the legends of the 12 months, Romanian traditions, and ancestral customs. We found houses with goodies, children’s shows, playgrounds, and a restaurant. We had fun, laughed, and had a good time under the “Place to Kiss” sign, “Fairytale Girl”, “Fairytale Boy”, etc. The park perfectly illustrates the personification of time, with days turning into months, each with its own charm, and then into years, starting the cycle anew. We are witnesses to this timeless story. The Story of the Calendar is a fairy tale world in Sibiu County, surrounded by the Făgăraş Mountains, castles, and traditional villages. It helps guests rediscover everyday reality through the eyes of childhood, free from worries. It’s a magical place that perfectly illustrates the...

I was not impressed with the place. I was expecting to see little houses, each one having something to do with each month or a little story or someone that could tell little ones a story as it seems to be about story telling st first sight. Once inside kids are not allowed to step on the grass, which is a bit unachievable as they are kids and is quite a things to stop them from doing that. Inside moat of the houses were shops with overpriced items, some of then handmade and I appreciate that but seemed really pricey. Some of the play stuf left at playgrounds were broker or missing pieces, so kids were left disappointed as couldn’t use them after all. Better take those off, my advice. Also the day was really hit and not much shade for the little ones. I hope this can be taken as a constructive feedback and make that place better as It could be a really good place to have a day out with kids.
