Mountainous Banat Museum — Attraction in Reșița

Actually very nice museum in Reşiţa. First interesting thing is actually the building, which was build in socialistic realism architectonic style and it's very original. I was asking of some things of staff and they were very helpful and kind. Informations and expositions were interesting, although some of them not so much. I like pictures, traditional clothes etc. Television from 60' not so much, but generally it's nice. Entrance is supercheap.( I think 4 lei) But I visited it during night of museum in Resita and the entrance...

Not much on display, and information is kind of brief. Lighting is not favorable to the exhibits.

Guide / Curator followed us throughout the tour, but did not volunteer info, we had to keep asking about stuff. The sensation was that he is pushing us to move faster (probably unintentional, but still..)

At least we were allowed to take pics, something still Verboten in several...

The museum is housed in a building which was modern for its times, underused and not maintained. The exhibitions are diverse and interesting. The guide just supervised us, no info at...
