It’s a very beautiful place from where you can see the surrounding mountains. Unfortunately it is very badly conserved, as in it’s not. You can drive up towards the fortress and you have to leave the car on an alley, but it’s not a problem because there are few people visiting this place so you can find a parking spot. After that you have to climb up a hill, approximately 2 km but it’s not a very steep climb. Inside the remaining fortress, you have to be careful not to fall over because, like i said, it is not taken care of and therefore there are no fences so if you’re not careful, you might slip. Unfortunately, after we left, at the beginning of the alley we, by chance, saw that there was a hidden sign describing the fortress, but even so, there was very little information. Read moreWent there with my wife and almost 4 years old son on a summer day. You can leave your car about 500 meters away from the citadel and then take the trails till the base of the place. The way is clear and easy but if you want to climb into the citadel then you need some good shoes. The view is beautiful from the citadel and it worth getting there but you need to be careful because there are no safety measures there as the place is abandoned into the wild. The views from the top are amazing.
The fenced area on the path has become bigger recently and took over the “road”, you have to go around theough the bushes. Like almost every nice place in this country, there’s barb wire fences and private property signs blocking...
