Este unul dintre cele mai spectaculoase lacuri din tot Parcul Național Retezat. În apa cristalină am avut ocazia de a vedea păstrăvi sălbatici iar pe stâncăria din zona lacului trăiește și o colonie de marmote.

Traseu mediu, dar nu e marcat corespunzator de la Cabana Carnic , totusi e prea frumos sa nu ii dai 5 stele .

The name means lovely, warm. Indeed the lake creates a peaceful atmosphere with its beautiful rocky surroundings and nice meadows. It's the fourth largest lake in the Retezat Mountains but one of the if not the most beautiful glacier lakes. Don't try to jump in it on hot summer days. The coldness of the water...
