Amazing place!!! We came here on a quick pit-stop and we were so pleasantly surprised by what we found!

First of all, the 10 lei entrance fee is so reasonable it would be a shame to miss it because of costs (saw some reviews that you should not pay for a walk - I disagree, all Botanic parks around the world need funds to survive and be able to keep taking care of their plants). And even more, now that they are having some works and some part of the park is closed - they are not requesting any fee.

Second, their ponds are WONDERFUL. We loved walking around them and taking pictures ❤️ Check them out and appreciate everything you can...

Nice place to stroll around. One of the largest of it's kind in the country. The downfall is that is not that maintained. You can feel you are still in the backyard of a wealthy owner in the 1800's. Entrance price is ridiculously low, about 0.90 eurcents. I haven't seen a ticket purchase so low since a long time ago. L.E. prices have increased recently but not outrageous. Still a great place that usually is avoided by people with kids and ones that look for...

Not recommended. The place is not looked after well enough, the most interesting area is close by the entrance, and you'd better not venture further - we had two 'wild' dogs following us. It was kinda scary, because they let us pass at first, but later I heard them behind us, and they'd stop when we were looking at them, but continue after us when we were not. We met a family of about 5-6 people, and that scared the dogs away. For an arboretum that's just...

Gigantic park , over 70 hectars ,canals , ponds and thousands of plants , Bela Fay mansion (degraded and closed ) . This park is not very well advertised , it is in Simeria city very close to the A1 Highway very accessible , ticket in june 2024 was 10 lei (2 euro) . There are also some facilities like WC , benches , it is very very large (2nd size in Europe ) , I recomend it but equip yourself with patience and water .
