🌟 Review: A Beautiful Zoo With a Heartbreaking Experience
I visited the zoo in Romania recently and was genuinely impressed by how beautiful and well-maintained the grounds were. Many of the animals seemed well cared for, and I especially loved seeing the monkeys — they were adorable and full of personality.
However, my visit was completely overshadowed by something that left me extremely upset and honestly heartbroken. While watching the monkeys, I noticed a group of grown adults spitting water at them and laughing like it was some kind of joke. I was disgusted — not only by the behavior itself but by the fact that no staff were present to stop it or protect the animals.
I couldn’t help but speak up. I asked them, “How would you feel if you were locked in a cage and someone spit water at you and laughed?” They didn’t have much to say after that — but the damage was done. It was disturbing to witness that kind of cruelty, especially from adults who should know better.
This incident made me question whether zoos are truly the right place for animals. If proper supervision and respect aren’t guaranteed, then maybe these animals should be free — or at the very least, the zoo needs to enforce strict rules and have staff present in sensitive areas.

Read moreIt's been 10 years, maybe since I've last been l, until recently and I was a bit hesitant as I remember nothing but sadness about this place. Sad animals, iron cages and that's all, so expectations were low. I have to say however this zoo changed to the core. It looks modern, a lot more animals, music, places where you can get really close. I recommend the lemur exhibit if you go visit. We have been at this zoo on the 1st of June when it was absolutely packed as it's intl children's day but the place is big enough for this not to be annoying. The only issue we had was with some people that simply cannot behave in society and they belong on the other side of the cage, but that's nothing to be held against the zoo. All and all a great experience, my kid...
