Ski Resort Transalpina — Attraction in Voineasa

Really difficult to understand the incompetence manifested in all areas of Romanian society. Honestly, I'm shocked and disgusted to see the "we can't, isn't possible, is not for us, it can work like that too, can be tied up with a wire instead of a screw, etc"! I reached a point in my life where I am sick about every single day living in this country and if is happening that is definitely due to the people. To this incapacity of the Romanian society, talking about private or public zones, to adapt, to understand the current times. For sure, once again is confirmed that the education makes the difference or better to say, the malfunction, low performance educational system produce at a large scale thieves, demi analphabet profesionals that can be proud only for the papers received as diploma but lacking any kind of substance, usefulness for the society, many times missing even the most basic knowledge that a basic educational system must guarantee. It makes this difference in how responsible the individual will be in his adult life, how competent, how will deal with corruption and injustice that individual, etc. I see this part of the world as completely lost in the world competition and nothing in the near future will help on that. This ski area, even if it has a good potential, remain an obscure point on the utopian turistic map of a country that shows its incapacity to take the advantage on points given by the chance, by the universe, as is the case of landscapes and nature. By the way, points that were indeed preserved in the past by other type of Romanian people, those capable to sacrifice, to give their lifes for freedom of this territory. Now, as a good example, the actual administrators of this ski "resort " are not even capable to provide , to post online a good, valid contact number, phone number or email. Not to discuss updated information about the snow conditions and opening days. The local administration, known as in the whole country, as defined by incompetence, ignorance and indifference together with a parasite mentality, definitely cannot imagine better solutions to develop this turistic potential. My experience here is a very pleasant one. There are places where to park your car, really close to the resort. The prices for renting snowboards and skiis are really affordable. Ranging from 50 lei for boots and boards. What's a bit on the more expensive side is if you want to get a day pass or something on the sort. Me and a few others just got one ride up for 60lei. Once you have gone with up with the gondola/ski lift, things get really nice fast. There are bathrooms and little shops with wine and food. From there, you can go even higher by gondola or by a rope tow ski lift. There are a lot of employees at every mark making sure everything is OK, especially with kids. There are also a lot of dogs that are really adorable and add to the rustic charm of the place.

Food wise, there are many options at the bottom of the resort, ranging from soups and meats to all sorts of fried things. Some of them are a bit more pricey, yet you can still enjoy a meal for 20lei.

Pro: parcare aproape de partie, acoperita cozi decente la instalatii exista partii usoare pe platou, perfecte pentru incepatori peisaj absolut superb am gasit partiile albastre (deservite de teleski) in stare buna

Contra: partia rosie (principala) si cea din padure (nemarcata) sunt foarte slab intretinute: portiuni cu gheata (fara niciun semn de atentionare, precum exista in alte locatii), pietre si chiar bolovani de-a binelea pe partia din padure (nemarcata) partia din padure nu apare pe harta cand partia 7 si telescaunul aferent nu sunt deschise, practic iei gondola nr 2 degeaba, dar nimeni nu te anunta. Teoretic, conform hartii, singura varianta de a te intoarce de acolo este sa mergi 200-300m in urcare, pana la un alt teleski. Asta daca nu descoperi din intamplare traseul din padure, care nu apare pe nicio harta si nu este marcat. traseul din padure este destul de periculos, stramt, nemarcat si cu portiuni expuse instalatiile sunt gandite extrem de prost: ca sa ajungi de la gondola 1 la teleskiuri, trebuie sa urci. S-ar fi putut pune capatul teleskiului mai jos, astfel incat ai fi putut face transbordarea intre instalatii (ambele sensuri) fara a fi nevoit sa urci. personalul destul de neprietenos si nepregatit, in special la food bar-ul de la coada gondolei: uita sau incurca comenzi, le ia o vesnicie sa prepare mancarea si sunt si nepoliticosi. nu exista prea multe optiuni de cazare in apropiere drumul spre Voineasa-Brezoi-DN7 este destul de prost si enervant, "in valuri". Nu stiu care este cauza.

Noi am facut un day trip de la Bucuresti (4h30m pe drum), dar nu pot sa spun ca a meritat, din pacate. Multa lume lauda acest resort, dar personal am ramas dezamagit. Cu mai mult efort din partea administratorului si o mai buna intretinere, cred ca ar fi ceva de vis. Pacat...
