Stâna Ștefanu — Attraction in Voineasa

In July 2023 my friend and I passed the "Stana Stefanu" on the "Transalpina" route. We took a rest at this place and ate the tradtional Romanian dish "Bulz" and we liked it a lot! It was the perfect boost before starting the offroad passage "Drumul Strategika" with our motorcycles. Two weekes later, when we came back from Bulgaria, we came along the "Transalpina" route again and made a break at the "Stana Stefanu" a second time. And guess what, we ordered again some of the tasty Bulz. We were curious of making some Bulz at home in Switzerland, so we asked how they're done. The friendly owners provided us insight in their kitchen and gave us some advices for the ingredients and how to work with them. That was very kind and interesting! Nice place to store by to stretch legs and enjoy a grilled "bulz", made of cheese wrapped in, corn semolina. People out there claim is natural and authentic. It may be so or just marketing strategy, however for us it was enough their friendliness and if our fussy kids enjoyed it, then it has to be perfect ( They are more critic about food than a Michelin assessor). Very bad experience!!! Bought a bottle of syrup which exploded in my kitchen. There were little shards of sticky glass EVERYWHERE! ON THE SELIG! EVERYWHERE! STICKY! LITTLE GLASS BITS! GUESS WHO WAS CLEANING THE KITCHEN AT 4AM? OF STICKY GLASS!?!? Not enough though, the person there said that the syrup will not drip! Guess what the f@&#&# i had dripping my my trunk?¿ That's right!
