Once you take the cable car to the top, the first and only place you can eat is here.
Food: They have a large variaty of food. You take your own food. It is quite delicious. I had Bulz (roasted polenta and cheeze) with muraturi and a cappuccino. The food was well done and tasty!
Location: It's located at 1700m altitude. The only place you can eat at the top.
Price: Prices are high. Waaay too high! so for the muraturi I paid 15 Ron (aprox 3euro) and it was a small portion (salad portion), Bulz was 30 Ron (6 euro) and the Cappuccino was 15 Ron (3 euro). You are still in Romania! you should not have this crazy prices!
Staff: Didn't interract with them that much as you take your own food...no waiters. However I liked the fact that they are able to speak clear English :)
Ambiance: It's a rustic place. I like the decor and the details perfect for the location.
We were there in a weekend. It wad crowded! They had a DJ outside and serving hot wine and other stuff on the deck. It was great! music was from the '80s till today...for all kinds of styles :) it will get you pumped up before your ride...

The view is spectacular, it could be a reason in itself to stop there for a while, but it would be such a pity not to enjoy a meal there or even an overnight stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean, with small terraces to enjoy the place. So, wether it is for a full vacation or just for a coffee and a piece of their amazing Strudel, don't hesitate to take the cabin towards Postavaru-Kanzel and pay a visit...
Read moreThe worst experience ever. A part of the food tasted like it was rotten. In the exterior we wanted to have a drink and go on the slope after that but we couldn't because the "bodyguard" from there said it was reserved and we cannot stay there. It was verry windy outside.where should we have drank ? On the skislope? And it was reserved for what event? It was not posted anything anywhere.they said to call on the phone number from the internet before coming to make a reservation. Am I a mind reader to know that an event would come?i would be curious if they pay the taxes for events and for the income.because i saw a lot of people who pay without recieveing any receipt.i would...
