Review for middle of June 2024, during a weekend.
Got in early morning, better ticket prices, less crowded. Payment accepted by card also contactless or tap to pay.
Parking is available nearby, however the surrounding area is packed with people, so finding an empty parking lot will involve some sort of luck. Whole area is almost 95% shaded inside the forest, so even in sunny/hot days you'll be fine. I felt no need for a sun cap/head cover.
If you want a locker is being provided (free of charge for you belongings and water) in the main "hubc area from where you could embark on different paths.
Tip1: bring your own gloves, to avoid overplaying for the at the entrance. You don't absolutely need gloves, but your hand will thank you if you have them. 15 lei a pair of gloves for you to keep at the entrance booth. Tip2: bring in your water (you can also purchase it inside, along with other sodas).
You are provided with a training (English or Romanian for sure. possibly even German) by watching a video and them a real staff will show you how to do maneuver the gear. Your entrance fee gives you an initial time slot of 3h. If you severely run over, additional payment is due (another 35l lei/7€ per hour). I was off with 10 minutes and was given a free pass.
Staff is mainly friendly. They do have 2 different color t-shirt (bright green visible from the top of the trees but also brown/green camouflaging them inside the forest. I had to call the park main phone line to ask for support of a blocked person on path while seeing no staff around, and wanted to avoid screaming "help" as it was not needed with urgency.
As an adult I really enjoyed the park, the adventure itself and although challenging with heights, I felt in constant control and 100% safe inside.
My request for improvements:
I would return here, definitely. If you reached with your reading to this level, and you found this information useful,...
Read moreGreat experience! Visited with my wife and our three boys, 7, 9, 11 years old. My boys are adventurous and I was counting on this visit to fill their daily dose of adrenaline. Was a little concerned at first since the 7 year old had different area and I was worried he will get bored too soon. As it turned out, the younger dudes section is pretty diverse and each rout is long and challenging enough. My two older ones could do the 3 yellow (easy) and 3 green (a little less easy) routes. All routes were pretty long (took more than 10 minutes to complete , minimal waiting between “games”). All routs were diverse and interesting with very nice games. While we completed the 6 on less than the 3 hours you pay for, they could have gone on and on. My wife and I also did one of the red (second hardest) rout. That was far more challenging for a 40 year old not-in-shape persons. Lastly, I did the only black rout (hardest). I’m fit and practice climbing for many years. While I could handle tougher routes, it was definitely a tough and challenging one, requiring strength balance and technic. Also did their large zip line (AKA omega). That was a fun one yet not very challenging. The crew was mostly helpful and glad to land a hand or answer a question. They were also kind enough not to charge me for an extra hour even though I used 52 minutes of it. Just make sure you ask for a locker key once the training is completed Toilet were clean - important when you are with kids.
To be improved: I heard they search your bags to make sure you don’t bring in any food or drink -...
Read moreBest place in Brașov. Out of all the places I've been around Braşov, Transylvania, Bucharest this is by far the best experience. There's plenty to do and you can come back to test your courage on harder levels. The safety has been enhanced since last time I came 2 years ago. Back then you could clip of the straps any way this time when you clip one of the second locks for safety so no accidents will happen. The staff is always around and giving a helping hand no matter your age. They are patient and will assist you, my sister didn't tie her hair and they went out of their way to get us a new hair bubble for her to use. It is English friendly and child friendly, also has a park and outdoor gym for those who don't want to climb. For those who are just supervising there's food and drink with areas to sit. It's possible go climb even with there's a storm like I have today. It shuts at 19:00 you can climb for the total of three hours if you want longer you must pay for excess time. I recommend for the whole family, even if you don't have much courage I will suggest to come back more times and go on harder ones each time you visit until you're able to do them all. There's Yellow the easiest, Green, Blue the medium Red and Black the hardest. To be able to go on all of them you must be 16 years old. Thank you for reading my review I hope you can go visit and enjoy it as much as I have, and for this reason of going to the adventure park is what makes me fly all the way from the UK to come...
