Let's cut to the chase: the price list literally says "foreigners have to pay 1700 rouble each" wheras russians only have to pay 500!!!! What the f... While walking through the hangars I met two more foreigners who only had to pay 500 each. This obviously made me wonder why I had to pay 1700. Nevertheless, I kept exploring the tanks that were on display. I was particularly interested in the german 'Maus' tank that you can't see anywhere else but in this museum. Hence, I entered the german hangar and I was more than disappointed since german classics like the Tiger 1 and the King Tiger/Tiger 2 weren't even on display although there were signs saying they were there (many other german tanks weren't there either)... After seeing the 'Maus' I went back to the ticket office to ask why I had to pay 1700 roubles (btw every single sign is written in russian - and only in russian - except the one saying you're not allowed to climb onto the tanks). I asked the lady whether she spoke english and she said yes, so I asked her why I had to pay 1700 instead of 500 and she answered in russian... The discussion went on for several minutes with her speaking russian and me speaking english until finally another vistior showed up who spoke a little bit of english and explained to me why I had to pay 1700 roubles. Again, that's because 500 roubles is only the price for russians. I told him to ask the lady why other foreigners only had to pay 500 and she said that they probably asked a russian guy to get their tickets for them. Therefore I RECOMMENDED EVERY FOREIGNER TO ASK A RUSSIAN PERSON TO BUY HIS/HER TICKET FOR HIM/HER. PS: The exhibition isn't very creative. I.E. you walk through the hangars and you have tanks to your left and right and that's it. Unfortunately, all descriptions are only in russian. THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN THE TANK MUSEUMS OF MUNSTER,GERMANY AND SAMUR,FRANCE DON'T NEED...

Sadly the German pavilion had been recently relocated to another location, however the Maus and some other machines are still there.
Please note that nothing is in English (including people) and getting to this place on public transport might prove tricky. And well, the quality of everything is quite sketchy. Make sure you go with someone who speaks russian, otherwise these f*ers will scam you into paying three times the actual ticket price.
