The museum has some interesting exhibitions on energy, geology and natural history of Rwanda, as well as a garden showing a large selection of plants traditionally used for medicinal purposes in Rwanda.
What really set our visit apart though was our guide Frank (the guided tour is included in the entrance fee btw). He was extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the topics on display as well as many other topics of interest to us as travellers to Rwanda. It is, I would say, the overview of different amazing locations in Rwanda. It perfectly illustrates the green colour of the Rwandan flag.
