After primate tracking and before heading back to Kigali we found this fairytale park that felt like scenes in Wakanda that the last Rwandan king enjoyed back in 1894. An easy moss covered volcano rock path led us through natural forests and outlooks where we saw 5 new to us species of butterflies. We didn't make any prior reservations and paid Momo 60k for 2 residents at the entrance. Spent a little over an hour here but could have...

Beautiful dense forest unlike others I have been in in Rwanda. Not recommend for someone with difficulty walking on uneven and loose stones. For others, just watch your step. Short walk but on unstable stones. ...
