Praia do Boi on Príncipe Island is a hidden gem and truly worth the adventure. Getting there is challenging – the road is in terrible condition and really only feasible with a jeep – but once you arrive, you’re rewarded with a little slice of paradise. The beach is small, quiet, and often empty, with crystal-clear waters perfect for a swim. The sense of calm, isolation, and peace makes it feel like your own private sanctuary. An unforgettable spot for those who enjoy nature at its purest.

Easily our favourite beach in Principe. Absolute paradise. You can get here with a 4x4 or by boat. We came here twice and both times we were the only people on the beach. Water was calm as the beach is somewhat sheltered, good snorkeling spot as soon as you go a bit away from the sand and closer to the rocks.

The way/path to get there is terrible! Without a 4x4 not doable. After raining even worse as you are basicall sliding in mud. Still a super nice beach. Try to go first to Macaco Beach and from there to Boi, the road is slightly better. You find all of those pathes on maps.me.
