Frigate Bay — Attraction in Saint Kitts

Not a bad beach. Locals were nice and helpful.

I asked where the best spot to eat was and a person who works in the beach took me to a place called Oceans beach bar. I went in and the menu looked great. I ordered food for my daughter who was really hungry. It was the jerk chicken lunch with lots of wonderful sides. We paid and waited 20 min for it. 20 minutes later the waitress told us that they are all out of jerk chicken. I asked for my money back and left wry disappointed in their service.

I then went to vibe bar to order a jerk chicken dinner which after 25 min of waiting I got the wrong order. I then waited another 15 for the correct order. When I got my food the jerk chicken was simply 4 stripes of chicken breast coated in jerk sauce and the chicken was not even fully cooked properly.

I don’t think I’ll come to this beach ever again in my life. And I do not recommend any...

This side, southwest side, of Frigate Bay is not good for swimming. The beach has too many shells to walk on. There was sudden water level change so too dangerous. It was good that there were not too many people. Beach chairs and umbrella charges were between $15 and $10, 2 chairs and one umbrella. We got off from Princess Cruise, at Port Zante, and used independent taxi, $20 (base rate for 10 min ride) for 4 people, one way to Frigate Bay and will pick us up on scheduled time from same location to take us back...

A little rough and ready are the bars 🍺🍹 along the front but really friendly, sun facing beach 🏖️ nice warm sea along with taste rum punches 😁 we along with others, shared a mini bus to and from the beach ⛱️ was given a wrist band paid 7 $ each way.. each 🕺💃 and was asked a time when we would liked to be picked up and the driver was there waiting for us 👏👏 if you want a beach ⛱️ day well worth the...
