Book without hesitation and ask for Captain Shervin!!! 10/10 Visited this experience following recommendations from others and it did not disappoint. A truly authentic rafting experience: starting off with welcome drinks and fresh coconut water alongside coconut leaf origami pieces handmade for each of us. We were then given a brief insight into the history of the spot and the journey of the locals which gave birth to the newly established bamboo rafting experience. When we were all settled in we were taken to the rafts and along the water - stopping off for fresh coconuts, unlimited mangoes, sugar cane and cocoa. We were allowed to take our time and were encouraged to enjoy the experience to the full throughout. The highlight was definitely the secret mangrove situated behind the beach and being allowed to jump in and enjoy the fresh water. This was a 10/10 experience and well worth the price. Book without hesitation and ask for Captain Shervin - an absolute legend who accommodated us spectacularly ensuring we were fully satisfied from...
Read moreWe booked the Romancing the River tour which includes a 3 course lunch. We were picked up at our Airbnb and arrived to our destination safely. Upon arrival, our chef/bartender made us and amaretto sour. Shortly after we started our raft tour with Allen who told us about the wildlife and history of the area. We took a detour through the hidden mangrove forest before turning back to arrive at the beach. Once there we took a stroll on the beach before sitting down for our meal. It started with a pumpkin soup followed by salad, grilled chicken and potatoe salad served with wine. For dessert rum cakes with star fruit was served. Finally, Allen made us a coco loco (real coconut with rum added) as a finisher. After lunch we spent time on the beach enjoying the sun and the ocean before heading back up river for our drive back. I highly...
Read moreWe highly recommend this experience. It started with a delicious cocktail upon arrival. We were then assigned " Captain Kay" who cut open fresh coconuts for us to drink during our journey. Our 21 year old captain was very entertaining and had an interest in photograhy so provided a photo shoot of our experiment all while he was poling down the river. The scenery along the river was spectacular! Umbrellas were provided for shade and beer and water also provided. At the end of the river, right before reaching tbe ocean, we glided through some mangrooves before being towed back to our starting point. The whole experience took about 2 hours and was worth the cost. It is also near a rum distillery, if you want to combine that...
